For a long time, these brats were sold at retail locations simply hanging on hooks by their keychains. The tags included with the brats allowed them to be scanned and sold.
However, at some point in the 2010s, it was decided it would be easier to package the brats for retail sale. Here’s the following packaging I’ve seen. If you look carefully, you’ll see they all open from the bottom as the plastic has an adhesive strip.
